'Jeopardy!': Kid from 'Bad Santa' Has Nightmare on Show
Former child star Brett Kelly revealed a nightmare he once had while competing on 'Jeopardy!'
Former child star Brett Kelly, best known for his role as Thurman Merman in the 2003 film "Bad Santa," recently appeared on "Jeopardy!" and shared a nightmare he had while competing on the show.
Kelly's Nightmare on 'Jeopardy!'
During his appearance on the show, Kelly revealed that he had a nightmare the night before his taping. In the dream, he was standing at the podium, but he was completely naked. He was so embarrassed that he wanted to run away, but he couldn't move his legs.
Kelly said that he woke up from the nightmare in a cold sweat. He was so shaken up that he had to get out of bed and walk around for a while to calm down.
Despite his nightmare, Kelly went on to have a successful appearance on "Jeopardy!" He finished in second place, winning $2,000.
Kelly's Career Since 'Bad Santa'
Since his breakout role in "Bad Santa," Kelly has continued to act in both film and television. He has appeared in such films as "The Last Mimzy" (2007), "The Haunting in Connecticut" (2009), and "The Purge" (2013). He has also had roles in such television shows as "CSI: Miami" (2005), "Bones" (2007), and "Criminal Minds" (2010).
In addition to his acting career, Kelly is also a singer and songwriter. He has released two albums, "Brett Kelly" (2006) and "Acoustic" (2008).
